BHT Sussex provides support for rough sleepers, homes, specialist support services, legal advice and representation, and other specialist services across Sussex.
Our Mission is combating homelessness, creating opportunities, promoting change. We see it as our role to both challenge the causes of homelessness, poverty and marginalisation and to deal with the consequences.

BHT Sussex is a people-led organisation and recruits employees, bank cover workers, volunteers and interns in a range of therapeutic, advice and support roles.
At present we have approximately 350 employees, 35 bank cover workers, and numerous volunteers and interns. We have services, projects and offices based across Brighton and Hove, East and West Sussex. Our Mission is ‘combating homelessness, creating opportunities, promoting change’.
In recognition of our commitment to our staff BHT Sussex has been awarded gold accreditation from Investors in People. We are also signed up to the Disability Confident employer scheme and have made the Mental Health at Work commitment.
